Spring brings new growth at Jobling Gowler
We are delighted to announce that we are expanding our expert litigation team. Louise Wilcox and Vicki Acres are Solicitors with over 35 years combined experience in Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence work. They now join the team bolstering the firm’s technical expertise and geographical reach. The firm remains committed to careful growth. We aim to ensure a first class, solicitor-led and client focused service for our clients across the North West.
Louise joins the firm as a Director/Partner. Louise will be instrumental in helping the board deliver continued plans for growth. Based in Lancashire, she will provide an outreach service for Jobling Gowler’s clients in the North Manchester and Lancashire areas.
Vicki Acres is a renowned technical expert Solicitor in the clinical negligence field. She has worked extensively on maximum severity and complex clinical negligence claims during her career. She is particularly keen to continue to develop the firm’s established record in birth injury and cerebral palsy cases, for which Jobling Gowler retains a Legal Services Commission franchise to provide Legal Aid funding.
Gill Peate, Head of the Clinical Negligence team said “We are excited for the future. Louise and Vicki joining the team strengthens our ability to continue to deliver excellence in serious injury and medical negligence cases. Clients do not need to go to the cities for exceptional advice. We intend to continue to deliver a bespoke, solicitor-led service putting the client at the heart of all that we do”.
In 2018 Jobling Gowler managed to punch above its weight yet again. We secured over £16.5 million for our clients. Already in 2019 we have secured over £28 million.
Simon Gowler, Senior Partner said “It is testament to the firm and its reputation that we are able to attract Solicitors of this calibre. We are delighted to continue to strengthen the services we offer to clients outside of Macclesfield and Cheshire, without diluting the quality of service we are recognised for”.
