Lawrence Robinson

Consultant, Solicitor

Lawrence has practised for upwards of 40 years in Macclesfield with only a short exception.  His training was with well-respected local practice, Barclay May & Co, where he later became partner.  Lawrence then went on to advise Macclesfield residents at Wains, Hague Lambert and latterly Chafes Hague Lambert. Keen to continue to serve residents in Macclesfield, Lawrence has recently joined the team at Jobling Gowler where his expertise and commitment to client care are aligned with the values of the firm.

Lawrence has established expertise in non-contentious matters specialising in Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney.

Having supported his father in caring for his mother in failing physical and mental health, Lawrence is able to empathise with the needs and requirements of the older client and their families.

He is married to Gail and they have three grown up daughters, and three grandchildren. With a disabled middle daughter he has developed an interest charity law in relation to support groups for people with disabilities.  This has remained a strong focus for Lawrence for over 25 years.

Outside work his interests are gardening, walking in the countryside with a touch of fell walking.  Holidays with the children are based on camping but greater comforts are sought in more senior years! He is an active member of his parish church having served as a churchwarden, Church Council Secretary, and current treasurer, along with appointments in the past to both deanery and diocesan synods.
